5.0 out of 5 stars What's not to love?June 21, 2015

Love this computer!

I do not write reviews for products I’ve owned for an hour or so. I like to give it some time. Sort of wring it out in my own way and see if I like it at the end of the month. Such is the case here.

REASONS FOR PURCHASE: I’ve used Windows desktops/laptops for 20 years (at least since Windows 3.1), various makes and models. When I went shopping for a new computer, I was looking for a few specific things.:

Reliability
Portability
Lightweight
and it had to be an Apple.

Why Apple? I like it when all my devices are using the same “eco-system”. I have my 2nd iPhone (just converted to smart phones a few years ago), AppleTV and an iPad. I wanted something that was more seamless in sharing data and documents between the devices. There are various Windows apps that help with this, but they just didn’t seem to be all that smooth. I knew from experience with the iPad and the iPhone that I...Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars The Bezels are not that big, really.March 29, 2015

I am currently using the 2015 MBA as my primary computer except for playing games. This is my first Mac.

Design:
I've looked at a few premium laptop options out there. No one else makes a laptop with this much attention to detail, I am sorry but I don't care what Ars Technica says about the design being outdated. Sure, the Dell XPS 13 has a slim bezzel, but how long can you brag amount a slim bezel? Slim bezels will not attribute to the laptop's resale value.

Performance:
With 4gb of ram, I am happily editing photos in Photoshop with no issue. Watching movies, browsing Reddit, everything works well. I don't feel any stuttering or lag. For the average user, this thing is plenty fast.

Screen:
Lots of people are saying the screen is TERRIBLE... compared to MBP's Retina, or Dell's QHD IPS display. Well no sh*t, on a spec sheet, it is certainly terrible compared to those displays. But in real life, it is a good display that is bright... Read more

Picked up a 11" 256GB at the Apple Store only because Amazon only carried the 128GB in the 11". Would have rather picked it up here as it was a few dollars cheaper and triple points on my Amazon Card on purchases here.

My only prior mac experience was a 2012 Mac Mini which I adored and sold it for what I paid for it a 6 months later when I thought new models were coming out. By the time they did, my money plans had changed. Bought another windows machine, that was HP junk. But I'm back on track and mac till the day I die.

I'm not a fanboy. If it sucked, I'd say it sucks. However I am a great lover of every apple product I've ever owned. Countless iPods, a few iPhones, Apple TV, etc... It all words like it should. Well designed, well built, easy and FUN to use.

I have some cheapskate relatives that look at apple as overpriced. However, my opinion is, Apple products are an investment. Use a windows laptop 3 years and if it
